Today I made some badges. I’ve had this idea in my head for a while now, but haven’t managed the time to make them until today. They are made entirely out of felt:

The text was hand-embroidered. It was probably my first time doing “proper” embroidery with the right thread, and it was pretty fun. I made one for myself, and one for my boyfriend. I was going to make some more to sell sometime in the future, but they’re so time consuming (all the edges are hand-stitched as well), so I’m not sure whether I will do this. I do like them a lot, I attached a pin thing to the back of them so they work pretty well as well.
Also, my camera is pretty crap. I couldn’t get it to focus on the embroidery detail properly, so the text looks a little hazy. The photo quality sort of ruins it a little, I think. I may need a new camera!
